The President, Dr Heather Tewkesbury CMath FIMA, will give her IMA Presidential Address, Why Mathematics Matters - Sharing Experiences to Amplify Impact.
Mathematics is shaping decisions, strategy, and innovation throughout industry and government. Dr Heather Tewkesbury and her guests will explore why sharing our experiences is essential, and how we can amplify our influence to deliver incredible impact for the whole community.
Registration opens at 6:10 pm, and the lecture will begin at 6:30 pm, followed by an optional reception.
Bookings for the Presidential Address are now open and will close at 5 pm on Friday 26 June 2026. Admission is by advance booking only on a first-come, first-served basis. The lecture is free to attend. Tickets for the networking reception following the lecture are £21.50 per person.
